Admissions Checklist
After you have completed the above form, we will then make arrangements for you to come and visit our school for a tour. At that time you can ask questions, see our students learning in the Montessori classroom and learn a little bit about what makes our school such a special place to be! At that time you will receive an application form. Families interested in joining our school will return the completed application with $75 to the office and book a classroom visit.
Once we have received your application and payment, our office staff will contact you to book a visit for your child with their prospective classroom and meet with our educational director. This is an opportunity for your child to experience what it would be like to be in a Montessori classroom. The educational director will spend some time getting to know your child and assess their general level. We enroll children year-round, when there is a match between a spot and a child based on timing, age, previous Montessori experience, and language skills. Before the visit you will be sent a Potential New Student Questionaire which will need to be filled out before your visit. After the school visit, you will then be booked for a zoom interview with the Vice principal.
Next, parents will have the opportunity to meet our Vice-Principal Ms. Shelley over zoom for an interview where they will discuss their child’s educational journey, answer questions, share observations, and explore further if our school is the right fit for your child. Shortly before the zoom interview a zoom link will be sent to your email.
After you have received an acceptance letter, the office staff will send you a registration packet to be filled out online. Once the packet is returned then we can proceed with processing your Placement Deposit through our tuition payment system TUIO. In order to secure your spot in our program you will have to have your Registration Packet completed and Registration Deposit submitted by the assigned date.
If your child is accepted into our program however there is not a spot available, families will be put on a waitlist. During that time families are informed of upcoming spots and contacted immediately.
